These services are available to both industry and office setting
work sites. The focus is on identifying ergonomic problems and
modifying existing or proposed work stations to better fit the
worker. The evaluation and analysis are provided by one or more
members of our industrial team and are especially suited to high-risk,
problem-prone areas. They can also be utilized when new product
lines are being established to identify and modify potential problem
areas before they occur.
After an onsite job analysis is completed, we can help you prepare
capital industrial/physical job descriptions. This type of job
description is focused on identifying and quantifying the physical
demands of the job on the worker. It includes a detailed analysis
of the material handling requirements (lifting, pushing, pulling)
and the repetitive activities required of an employee.
The information is provided in a standardized format with a Dictionary
of Occupational Titles code for utilization by industry, physicians,
therapists and medical case workers for writing work restrictions,
RTW programs/work hardening activities and for comparison with
FCE results for placement of injured workers.
