classes, equipment and programming at McDowell Wellness Center.
The following is a list of the different parts of our facility. |

Aerobics
Studio
Our 1500 square foot aerobics studio is where all of our land-based
aerobics activities take place. We offer classes for individuals
of all ages and fitness levels. |

Children's
Activity Center
For our members’ convenience, children can stay in the
Children’s Activity Center while their parents work out.
The center is for children between 3 months and 8 years of age.

Community
Education Room
Our community education room is used for various educational
programs and group meetings. Groups may use this room for private
meetings as the schedule permits. This room can comfortably
seat 20 people. |

Equipment
The gym has a variety of fitness equipment, including a stretching
station, treadmills, stationary bikes, “Hammer Strength”
equipment, air pressure activated “Keiser” machines,
cable-loaded “Body Master” machines and free weights. |

Locker Room
We offer our members a large locker room. Day use and rental
lockers are available for members. Small hand towels are available
and the showers are furnished with shampoo, conditioner and
body wash. Hair dryers and other amenities are also available. |

Outdoor Track
We offer our members an outdoor track for walking or running.
It is free of traffic and is one-half mile in length. |

Social Activity
Area
Our social activity area is used for visiting with friends,
waiting for someone to finish working out or just to take a
break. We display the artwork of a different local artist each
month in this area. |

Volleyball
Area
We offer our members a regulation size, sand volleyball court.
League play is available at various times throughout the year. |

Water Fitness Center
Our water fitness area has a six-lane, 25-yard indoor pool.
The pool ranges in depth from three and one half to six feet.
There is stair access and a lift chair for individuals who may
need it. |
